If you haven't already had these carried out yourselves we can offer a complete service so that it removes any worries you may have surrounding the whole process

Building Control & Building Regulations

Not many loft conversions require planning permission but are carried out under Permitted Development. However Building Regulations are necessary to ensure all work complies with the current regulations. Regular visits are made by Building Control throughout the build and a certificate is issued at the end. This is important both for your household insurance and if in the future you decide to sell your property. We can complete all the necessary forms on your behalf and arrange the visits again removing any worries you may have surrounding the whole process

Staircase Manufacture

We have a bespoke Joinery in Yateley and make our own staircases so we are not waiting for third parties to deliver

Built In Storage

There is usually space created under the eaves which can be turned into useful storage. Again we can provide this service through our Joinery along with fitted wardrobes

Structural Engineer

Carrying out a loft conversion means extra loads placed on your property so structural calculations are carried out to ensure the correct timbers and/or steels are used so that your property is structurally sound

Electrics and Plumbing

Our electrician and plumbers are fully qualified and hold the necessary qualifications to provide a Part P Certificate for the electrical work and Corgi Registered/Gas Safe should water tanks and/or boilers need to be moved and replaced

Party Wall Agreement

If your property is either a semi-detached or terrace then you are required under the Party Wall Act of 1966 to inform your neighbours of any work that you intend to carry out. With a loft conversion we may need to cut into the party wall so that load bearing beams can be positioned. We have the forms that you require and can fill them out on your behalf. Notice needs to be given about eight weeks before work commences

En-Suites and Bathrooms

If you decide to have an en-suite or bathroom within your loft conversion we do all the necessary labour to carry out the plumbing and electrics. We do find it better if the customer chooses their own sanitary ware as a lot depends on personal choice and budget
